Musician A Pass, real name Alexander Bagonza, has surprised fans by revealing that his much-publicized feud with fellow artist Bebe Cool was nothing more than a planned publicity stunt.
During a recent live session on TikTok, A Pass candidly responded to fans who questioned his past online clashes with Bebe Cool.
He disclosed that the drama had been orchestrated by Bebe Cool himself, who suggested they create a fake rivalry to boost their visibility.
According to A Pass, the suggestion came at a time when he was still new to the music industry.
Known for his calm and calculated demeanor, A Pass said he was cautious about his public image. But during a meeting at Iguana, Bebe Cool advised him to stir up controversy if he wanted to gain attention.
“Bebe Cool asked me why I was so quiet online, yet funny in person. He told me I was pretending to be calm and that my personality wouldn’t take me far. He literally asked me to start disturbing him online,” A Pass recounted.
The two artists went on to trade jabs in the media, although many fans eventually saw it as playful banter. Interestingly, despite the staged feud.
A Pass was recently among the select few granted an early listen to Bebe Cool’s upcoming album Break The Chains. He praised the project, calling it a well-produced body of work with clear vocals and solid beats.
