Reports reaching us reveal that singer Moses Ssali also known as Bebe Cool, refused to perform at Comedy Store despite being booked for the event.
Singer was scheduled to entertain fans at Roza Dyms last night , with Comedy Store proprietor Alex Muhangi securing his appearance.
However, although he showed up at the venue with his wife, he ultimately declined to perform and left, citing an unsettled payment issue with Muhangi.
Sources claim that while Bebe Cool initially agreed to perform out of goodwill, he later requested payment before taking the stage. Muhangi, however, explained that he was still waiting for revenue from ticket sales and promised to settle the payment afterward but he politely declined and exited the venue.
In an unexpected twist, Muhangi took to social media to express his dissatisfaction with singer’s actions.
“I now understand why people don’t like Bebe Cool,” Muhangi posted, expressing his disappointment over the situation and sparking a wave of mixed reactions from online users.
Some sided with Bebe Cool, believing he had the right to stand his ground, while others criticized his actions as unprofessional.
As of now, Singer has not addressed the issue publicly, leaving fans and the public guessing about the real reasons behind his decision to pull out of the event.
