The drama between the ex couple Sasha Ferguson and Canary Mugume has taken another explosive turn, with Sasha opening up in a lengthy Instagram post explaining why she has restricted Canary’s access to their children.
In her emotional account, Sasha claims she endured years of violence in the marriage and that the abuse didn’t stop with her.
According to Sasha, she kept the children away because the violence had “extended to them and even to my mother,” after Canary allegedly stormed her home to take the kids by force.
She further revealed that at one point, Canary allegedly strangled her, and when she finally tried to leave, she says the journalist and some family members attempted to twist the story, painting her as the abusive one accusations she strongly denies.
To back up her claims, Sasha posted a video showing Canary standing in the rain, looking distressed, and insisting she gets out of her car. She says this was one of the many chaotic moments caused by what she describes as his alcohol addiction.
Her message to Canary was blunt:
“Seek help. Work on yourself. Only then can you have access to the children.”
Sasha insists she is not trying to destroy Canary’s reputation, but rather speaking out because she worries about his wellbeing and the safety of their children.
Her post follows Canary’s earlier claims that he was being denied access to his kids despite having court granted rights claims Sasha says leave out the violence that forced her to take action.
