Presidential Advisor on Ghetto Affairs, Mark Bugembe, popularly known as Buchaman, has publicly called out fellow musician Bebe Cool, demanding payment for his performances at NRM campaign rallies.
In an interview with Spark TV, the former National Unity Platform presidential candidate Bobi Wine ally insisted he was never paid despite performing at several presidential campaign events, saying:
“I performed like everyone else. I showed up when called, but up to now I haven’t been paid. All I want is my money, nothing else.”
Buchaman revealed that Eddy Kenzo helped secure his slot for the rallies, but he maintains that Bebe Cool should be the one to settle the payments. The ongoing feud between Bebe Cool and Kenzo has only added confusion, leaving it unclear who exactly handled the artists’ payments.
The controversy comes after Buchaman had previously raised concerns about being sidelined by the NRM despite his long-standing loyalty. His latest statements have reignited discussions about transparency and fairness in campaign performer payments.
As of now, Bebe Cool has not responded to Buchaman’s claims. We shall keep you posted once he responds.
