Singer Gravity Omutujju’s mother, Jane Kajoina has been laid to rest today at her home in Nyantabooma, Fortportal district.
On Friday 18th October 2023, She succumbed in her sleep , after a while of grappling with several health issues.
Following her untimely passing ,vigils were held at her home , and subsequently a prayer service on Sunday at Nyantabooma Church of Uganda.
Today Monday 21st October 2024,a home prayer was held , before her burial at PM in Nyantabooma village, Fortportal.
The burial ceremony has been attended by a multitude of Ugandan celebrities including : Jose Chameleone, Eddy Kenzo, Nina Roz, Mudra D Viral, Green Daddy ,Mike Wine, Shakira Shakira’s ,Crysto Panda and Douglas Lwanga among others.
Tears mingled with found laughter’s as stories shared, Painting a vivid picture of a life well- lived and a soul that touched countless hearts.
Gravity was born on 14th April 1962 and she died on 18th October 2024 after she was found unresponsive in her bed.
While the exact cause of her death has not yet been officially confirmed ,her family believes it might have been linked to her history of diabetes and high blood pressure
