Controversial Masaka businessman and former tycoon Emmanuel Lwasa is once again making headlines after allegedly forcing his way into a property believed to belong to one of his former partners.
The dramatic incident, which was caught on camera, shows Lwasa asserting that the house is legally his claiming he financed its construction and that it is registered in his name.
Once known for his wealth and flamboyant lifestyle, Lwasa’s public image has deteriorated over the years due to a string of scandals, failed business ventures, and tumultuous personal relationships.
Defending his actions to the media, Lwasa said, “I built the house with my own money, yet my wife won’t let me into my own home. Women these days joke too much, but I will keep fighting for what is truly mine.”
He expressed frustration over what he described as ongoing efforts by others to undermine or exploit him, despite his hard work. Lwasa emphasized that he has learned from past mistakes and is now determined to safeguard his remaining assets.
The former politician revealed that he had originally planned to build his own flat within the same compound, but his estranged wife denied him access to the property.
In response, Lwasa reportedly cleared the garden and an unfinished structure on the premises, declaring his intention to build a new apartment there.
“I want to put up a nice apartment and revamp the place. It looked cheap. I came here several times, but she refused to open the gate,” he told journalists.
He also disclosed that he had invested heavily in the home, which he claims was constructed for the woman who, according to him, no longer wants anything to do with him. Nonetheless, he vowed to build his new apartment right next to the main house.
Lwasa has become known for his highly publicized relationship dramas, with many of his romantic entanglements ending in controversy often under the spotlight of public scrutiny.
