Singer Alexander Bagonza, popularly known as A Pass, has sparked debate after declaring that Bebe Cool is musically superior to fellow three Ugandan legends Bobi Wine and Jose Chameleone.
During an interview with Shalom Kaweesi and Frank Ntambi, the “Tuli Kubigere” hitmaker said his opinion is based on years of observation and musical analysis.
“I’ve watched and studied them as I grew up, and it’s clear that Bebe Cool can sing across different genres. He can do reggae, RnB, and dance music. If you listen to his early songs, they were more RnB, but he could also pull off the rougher styles,” A Pass explained.
He praised Bebe Cool’s vocal versatility and melodic range, saying they set him apart from his peers.
According to A Pass, while all three artists are giants in their own right, Bebe Cool’s ability to switch styles proves his superior musicianship.
A Pass also singled out “Love You Everyday” as one of Uganda’s greatest songs, describing it as a timeless hit that showcases Bebe Cool’s unmatched talent.
