Swangz Avenue singer Winnie Nwagi has opened up about her decision to wait before having a second child, revealing that she’s in no hurry to expand her family just yet.
In March this year, Winnie Nwagi celebrated her daughter’s 14th birthday , a milestone that sparked public interest and pressure from fans urging her to have another child.
However, the singer says she’s not ready, and is choosing to take her time.
In a recent interview with a local TV station, Nwagi explained that her decision stems from past experiences and a desire to avoid repeating earlier mistakes.
She made it clear that while she does want more children in the future, now is simply not the right time.
“It’s not that I don’t want more children — I dol,but everyone has their own timeline. I’ve learned from past mistakes, and I’m no longer rushing into things. I’ll have another child when I’m ready, not because people think it’s time.”,she said.
Nwagi also opened up about the struggles she faced earlier in life, particularly with the father of her daughter. Before rising to fame in the music industry, she went through a difficult breakup, during which the father denied responsibility for their child and failed to provide support.
These challenges have shaped her cautious approach to parenthood moving forward.
For now, Nwagi remains focused on her career and raising her teenage daughter, prioritizing stability and personal growth before considering expanding her family.
