Over the weekend, Swangz avenue artist  Winnie Nwagi found herself in a heated confrontation with fans during a performance in Rukungiri.

The incident, captured in a now-viral video circulating on social media, shows the singer being booed off stage by a section of the crowd.

Nwagi, known for her fiery personality and energetic performances, had just begun her set when some members of the audience began shouting at her to leave the stage. The hecklers accused her of not being special and told her to “get her life together,” sparking tension in the venue.

In response, the self-proclaimed “Fire Baby” halted the performance and asked the DJ to pause the music so she could address the crowd.

True to her reputation for not tolerating disrespect, she tried to call the audience to order but her efforts were met with resistance.

Despite her attempts to continue, the situation escalated, and she was eventually forced off the stage. Witnesses say that even after being chased off, she appeared unwilling to leave quietly.

This isn’t the first time Nwagi has clashed with fans. Over the years, she has been involved in several confrontations with audiences she deems disrespectful.

While she remains one of Uganda’s most dynamic performers, her temper and confrontational style continue to stir controversy.
