Goodlyfe artist Weasel Manizo born Douglas Mayanja, has admitted that he has developed a fear of staging concerts following his unpleasant experience with his previous show.
In 2024, Weasel held his much-anticipated “Memories of Goodlyfe” concert, which was a complete sell-out. However, the celebration was short-lived after he reportedly clashed with the event promoter over disagreements regarding the concert proceeds.
Speaking during a recent TV interview, Weasel revealed that he never received the payment he worked for and that the bitter fallout left him hesitant to organize another show.
“I fear concerts now. Maybe the money I earned from my past concert will be paid to me as condolences one day God forbid,” Weasel said jokingly.
Despite the setback, the singer assured fans that he hasn’t given up on music and still has plans to entertain them. He hinted that something special for Goodlyfe fans is in the works and that they can expect updates soon.
“I can’t stay away from my fans. By next year, I’ll be announcing what’s next for Goodlyfe,” he added.
Stay tuned for more updates here.
