Speculation about her move gained traction after a close friend revealed that Tendo quietly left the country last week.

The singer’s friend, Soniq Mildred, confirmed the news in a heartfelt message, describing the move as the beginning of a “new chapter” in Tendo‘s life.

In an emotional exchange shared on social media, Tendo expressed deep affection for her friend and reassured her that their bond would remain unshaken despite the physical distance.

“Oh my love, this is so emotional. You know this long distance doesn’t define us. I love you so much, my cutie pie. Thank you for doing this life thing with me. Thank you for being my favorite sister. I want you to be strong for me because we both know God has the very best plans for us. Please make sure you video call me every 10 minutes—I want to know what you’re up to 24/7. You’re my baby, and yes, the in-law finally won, but know that I treasure you. Love you forever,” Vivian Tendo wrote.

Soniq Mildred responded with a message filled with bittersweet emotions:

“I’m writing this with tears—tears of joy and emotion. I’m so excited for your new beginnings and proud of your achievements, but it hurts to know we’ll be so far apart. Still, I’m grateful that these tears come from a place of happiness, not sorrow. I’ve watched you grow from our teenage years into a married woman, and I’m thankful to witness your journey. Growth often comes with sacrifice, and though this long distance affects our daily lives, it’s part of the bigger picture. I’m praying for good health, peace, and a sweet reunion with your loving husband. I’ll avoid saying ‘I miss you’ because it hurts too much, but know I love you and am always close in heart, soul, and mind.”
