Controversial singer Uncle Chumi has publicly apologized to music producer Artin Pro after previously accusing him of sexual misconduct during a studio session.
The apology follows a June 26th demand by Artin Pro for a formal retraction, after Chumi alleged that he had inappropriately touched her while they were working on her track “Who.”
In an interview with Spark TV, Uncle Chumi admitted that her statements were made impulsively and were not intended to harm the producer.
“I talked to him. These things happen people get angry. But I told him, if I said anything bad, to forgive me. I didn’t mean it; I was just in my vibe.”,she said.
She went on to emphasize that there is no animosity between them, clarifying that her earlier remarks were made casually and without malice.
“I was just saying it for the sake of it, like how people talk about their stars. There isn’t any bad blood.”,Chumi clarified.
The apology appears to have brought some resolution to the situation, though neither party has confirmed whether any legal steps will be pursued.
