The burial arrangements for Kawempe North MP Muhammad Ssegirinya have been released.
Hon. Ssegirinya passed away Thursday morning at Lubaga Hospital, where he had been receiving medical treatment.
According to Bobi Wine, the president of the National Unity Platform, the late Ssegirinya will be laid to rest on Sunday in Masaka District.
A vigil will be held this evening at the National Unity Platform Headquarters, starting at 4:00 PM, where his body will remain overnight.
On Friday morning, his body will be taken to Parliament for a special session at 10:00 AM in honor of his service as a Member of Parliament.
Later on Friday, prayers will be held at Mbogo Mosque in Kawempe Municipality.
Following the prayers, his body will be transported to his home in Kasangati, where it will remain until Saturday. And transported to his ancestoral home in Masaka District where his body will be laid to rest on Sunday.
