Singer Spice Diana has addressed why she was notably absent from fellow artist Sheebah Karungi’s highly anticipated “The Return of the Queen” concert, held on August 22nd at Serena Hotel in Kampala — a show that drew a massive crowd.
While rumors of tension between the two have long circulated, Spice Diana dismissed any suggestion that personal differences were behind her no-show.
Speaking out, she clarified:
“I had shows outside Kampala, but I saw her concert and it was great for her and her fans. People wouldn’t show up if they weren’t there to enjoy.”
Spice also responded to comments Sheebah made during her pre-concert press conference, where Sheebah accused certain artists of using the media to undermine others in the industry.
Spice agreed with the sentiment, pointing out that such tactics rarely succeed in the long run.
“If someone is meant to shine, they’ll shine regardless. She might be right we’ve seen cases where artists fall out with managers who then try to sabotage them. Even without any fallout, someone can still choose to fight you. But it doesn’t stop your destiny”,she said.
