Veteran singer and talent manager Chagga Godffrey, popularly known as Chagga Yagga, is currently admitted to hospital after sustaining serious injuries in what he says was an attack by unidentified thugs.
The incident reportedly happened in the early hours of Sunday morning. Chagga says the assailants pounced on him and even tried to strangle him for unknown reasons.
However, conflicting reports suggest another version of events—some sources claim Chagga may have been knocked down by an unidentified vehicle on the road.
He was quickly rushed to Malcom Health Facility in Kisaasi, where medical teams worked to stabilize him. Due to visible head injuries, doctors are now considering a CT scan to assess the full extent of the damage.
Chagga’s caretakers have also hinted that he may be transferred to Nsambya Hospital if his condition worsens.
