Fiona Nagirinya, popularly known as Sasha Ferguson, has dismissed claims that she had a child outside her marriage with NBS TV’s Canary Mugume, calling the allegations malicious and damaging.
The rumours intensified after Sasha celebrated her son’s first birthday recently and shared beautiful photos from the celebration but Canary was noticeably absent. Even more surprising to netizens, he only posted a birthday message a day later in his Instagram stories.
The situation sparked heated debates online, with some questioning whether the couple was still together, while others went as far as doubting the paternity of their son.
However, Sasha has come out strong to clear the air.
Speaking through her comment section and Instagram stories, she firmly denied ever being unfaithful to her husband.
She also labelled the accusations as “dirty games” designed to tarnish her image and expressed disappointment at how quickly the public believed the false narrative.
The couple, who tied the knot at Miracle Center Cathedral, Rubaga on September 18, 2021, have been together for years. Their glamorous wedding was estimated to cost around Shs 400 million, and they welcomed their first child in February 2023.
But since last year, online “in-laws” have been closely monitoring their relationship, speculating that the two are no longer together. While Canary has remained completely silent, Sasha has occasionally shared cryptic messages, often sounding like a motivational speaker addressing marriage struggles.
For now, Sasha insists the rumours are baseless and the public will have to wait and see how things unfold.
