Sandra Teta, events host and longtime partner of singer Weasel Manizo, recently shared that their much-anticipated introduction ceremony was rescheduled.
In a candid interview, Sandra, who also manages Weasel’s career, revealed that while they had initially planned to hold the ceremony earlier, their busy schedules, including Weasel’s ‘Memories of Goodlyfe’ concert in August, caused delays.
Now that the concert is behind them, Sandra and Weasel are shifting their focus to their big day. She confirmed that preparations are now in full swing, with invitations expected to go out soon.
“We had a lot on our plate that needed attention,” Sandra explained. “Weasel’s concert had to be a priority, and although it didn’t end as planned, that’s no longer a reason to delay things. We are moving forward, and soon enough, the invitations will be sent out.”,she explained.
Sandra also shared that the traditional ceremony will take place in Rwanda, respecting her cultural heritage and honoring her parents.
“While some events may take place here, the Kwanjula (introduction ceremony) must be held in Rwanda, as that’s where my parents are,” she said.
Sandra and Weasel have been together for several years and share two children. Their official union has been eagerly anticipated by fans and loved ones alike.
The couple first met at the former Hideout bar in Kololo, where Weasel, accompanied by his brothers Pallaso and Jose Chameleone, was performing. They exchanged numbers, and their connection quickly grew stronger.
