Western Uganda’s music sensation, Reagan Muhairwe better known as Ray G has officially announced the date and venue for his much-anticipated 2025 concert.
Taking to his social media platforms, Ray G revealed that the concert, titled “Ray G Live in Concert,” will take place on November 1, 2025, at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.
With this announcement, Ray joins a growing list of artists securing early spots on the 2025 concert calendar. Fans are already buzzing with excitement, eager to see the “Hama” singer return to the stage.
Ray G’s last major concert, held in May 2024 at Lugogo Cricket Oval, saw record-breaking attendance and played a key role in spotlighting regional talent.
The success of that event helped pave the way for other western artists like T-Paul, who recently held a well-received show, and Omega 256, who is set to perform at the same venue next month.
Since then, Ray has continued to rise, dropping a series of popular tracks and expanding his fanbase beyond Uganda, especially in Rwanda. His recent EP, Checkmate, features collaborations with notable artists such as Rwanda’s Bruce Melodie and Swangz Avenue’s Elijah Kitaka.
However, the choice of Kakyeka Stadium as the venue has stirred concerns among sports fans. As the home ground of Mbarara City FC and a hub for regional sports programs, there are worries that the concert might damage the stadium’s pitch and affect ongoing sports activities.
More details about the concert, including guest performers and ticket information, are expected soon.
Stay tuned for updates.
