Godfrey Ssuubi Kiwanda, the former State Minister for Tourism and current NRM Vice Chairperson for the Central Region, narrowly escaped death after being involved in a serious road accident along Mityana Road.
According to sources, the incident occurred on Saturday when Kiwanda’s new orange Toyota Hilux collided with a salon car.
Eyewitnesses reported that the impact caused his vehicle to roll several times before coming to a stop.
Miraculously, He was pulled from the wreckage alive and was promptly transported to the hospital.
Fortunately, he did not sustain any injuries, and no one else involved in the crash suffered serious harm. However, both vehicles were extensively damaged.
Godfrey Ssuubi, a notable figure in the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) and former Member of Parliament for Mityana North, was reportedly behind the wheel at the time of the accident.
