Ugandan music darling Jackie Chandiru is officially back, and this time she’s doing it her way.
The former Blue 3 star has confirmed that she is set to stage her own solo concert, marking a powerful return to the music scene.
Speaking to Spark TV, Jackie revealed that she is dropping a brand-new song titled “Togenda” in the coming days.
“This song is a summary of my career and what I have been able to do and achieve,” she said.
The Gold Digger hitmaker also disclosed that she has been working on a 12-track album for the last two years and is finally ready to share it with the world.
Although the Blue 3 reunion show left fans excited, many were disappointed when the trio didn’t follow up with tours or new music.
Jackie, however, reassured fans that the dream is still alive:
“There is still time. Plans to revive the group are not in vain and will soon start to materialize.”,she said .
In a light-hearted moment, Jackie confirmed she is happily taken.
“I have fallen into cups and saucepans for someone,” she joked.
When asked about marriage, she added:
“I’m not sure, but I hope it turns into something beautiful for me.”
She admitted she is deeply in love and can’t help blushing whenever she thinks about her new partner.
Jackie also clarified why she didn’t appear at political campaign stages this season
“I don’t go where I am not invited. Bebe Cool invited me, but it didn’t align with what I wanted. Eddy Kenzo also invited me, but I didn’t feel at home, so I turned it down.”,she said.
