As the case against socialite Charles Obalim alias Sipapa moves forward, High Court officials conducted an inspection at Kabalagala Police Station earlier today to examine evidence linked to his ongoing aggravated robbery trial.

Sipapa, who was arrested in 2022, remains in custody at Luzira Prison while investigations continue. He has appeared multiple times before the High Court to answer questions related to the charges against him.

During today’s visit, court officials, witnesses, and his legal team reviewed several exhibits allegedly recovered from his residence at the time of his arrest.

Items on display included five vehicles, counterfeit gold, various pieces of jewelry, car rims, and a sum of U.S. dollars, among other items.

His lawyer stated that while the vehicles were collected from his home and other locations, authorities have not provided documentation proving his ownership of the items.

According to defense attorney Henry Kunya, Sipapa is scheduled to return to the High Court on Wednesday, 23 July 2025, for cross-examination concerning the seized exhibits.
