Uganda’s gospel fraternity is grieving following the heartbreaking death of celebrated gospel singer Joy Osa Nabbanja, popularly known as Joy Osa.
Reports indicate that the singer had been battling serious brain-related health complications for some time. She underwent brain surgery yesterday, but sadly, the procedure was unsuccessful leaving her family, friends, and fans devastated.
Joy Osa was widely loved for her uplifting gospel hits such as “Sikyali Failure,” “Mulyato Mwali,” “Binkolera,” and many others that inspired thousands of believers across the country.
Her passing has triggered an outpouring of grief on social media, with fans describing her as a dedicated servant of God whose dreams of spreading the gospel were unmatched.

Vigil: Mawugulu Canan Estate at 6:00 PM
Burial: Tuesday, 4:00 PM in Malawa Village, Magola Sub-county, Tororo District
