Veteran Ugandan singer and political mobilizer Jennifer Nakaguubi, popularly known as Full Figure, has finally spoken out about the recent violent attack against her, confirming that she is indeed the woman seen in disturbing video clips that went viral on August 31st.
The footage, which circulated widely across social media, shows Full Figure being viciously assaulted by two unidentified men at NRM offices.
The attack left her with visible facial injuries and required hospitalization.
Speculation quickly followed, with several individuals accused of orchestrating the assault including her long-time rival, Justine Nameere, though Nameere has publicly denied any involvement.
In an exclusive interview with Salt TV, Full Figure confirmed the incident and revealed that police investigations are ongoing to identify and apprehend those responsible.
Speaking candidly, she suggested that the attack may have been motivated by a desire for attention.
“I’ve never gone after anyone who hasn’t come after me first, Some people only gain relevance by talking about me they make me their source of income, but they do it for the wrong reasons. Sadly, it’s often those closest to us who hurt us the most.”,she said.
The singer, known for her outspoken nature, remains determined to seek justice while calling out the culture of clout-chasing at the expense of others’ safety.
