Ugandan singer Chosen Becky has opened up about the painful journey that led her to walk away from her former lover and ex–talent manager Dictator Amir and into the arms of her now-official partner Qadir Ssekajja, whom she set to introduce to her parents later today in a colorful ceremony in Masaka.
In a heartfelt revelation, Becky reflected on years spent loving someone who never took the step to make their relationship official.
“You can be with someone and do everything for him, but he will not even visit your parents or officially take you as a wife.”she said.
Becky said that chapter is now behind her. With Qadir officially introduced and recognized by her family, she says she’s ready to fully settle down and embrace a new life.
“I am ready to fill my man’s house with babies,” she added with excitement.
According to Becky, being official brings a different level of love, commitment, and accountability.
“Even if he faults, it will be in the eyes of the world, not just mine.”,she added.
It should be remembered that a few weeks ago, Amir admitted that their young age and financial struggles played a big part in delaying his plans to officially marry her.
Fans have since flooded social media to celebrate Becky’s honesty and her new milestone, calling her story “too real” and praising her for choosing herself and waiting to be loved properly.
With this new chapter, Chosen Becky steps into a future defined by love, stability, and the family she has always dreamed of.
