Singer Chosen Becky has opened up about the painful journey that pushed her closer to her photographer-turned-husband, Mr. Qadir Sekajja, revealing how her ex-lover allegedly rejected their son while she was still pregnant.
In a lengthy Facebook post that was later deleted, the singer claimed that her former partner, Dictator Amiri, denied responsibility for her pregnancy and repeatedly pressured her to abort the child.
Chosen Becky, whose recent Kwanjula ceremony sparked online buzz, said she suffered emotional pain throughout her pregnancy after being accused of cheating and seeing her unborn child rejected.
She alleged that Amiri only resurfaced occasionally to record videos for social media, but failed to support her during pregnancy, hospital visits, and even childbirth.
According to Becky, things got worse when she went into labour. She claims Amiri dismissed her calls and only appeared much later, more interested in filming videos than offering care.
“He rejected my baby right from the womb,” she wrote, adding that she felt lonely, broken, and abandoned.
The singer says everything changed when she opened up to Mr. Sekajja, who reportedly stepped in without hesitation, accepted the child as his own, and took full responsibility.
“He cried with me and told me he would be the father if the biological one had refused,” Becky revealed.
She praised Sekajja for raising the child with love taking him to hospital, buying his needs, and being a present father figure.
Chosen Becky says her son, Jib, now knows only one father Mr. Sekajja and is growing up loved and accepted.
“I thank God my son is no longer rejected. He is loved,” she concluded.
The emotional confession has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many praising Becky’s strength and applauding Sekajja for stepping up where others failed.
