Popular TikTok personality CB Talker, real name Onjeyo Joshua, has been left heartbroken after failing to secure the National Unity Platform (NUP) flag for Makindye West Lord Councillor.
In an emotional post shared on Facebook, the content creator expressed deep disappointment, revealing that despite his commitment and grassroots mobilization, he was not selected as the party’s official candidate.
“Seriously, they have not announced me as the flag bearer for Makindye West 1. Eh eh… They told us to do ground mobilization, and everything was done. I accept the outcome and will not file an appeal,” CB Talker wrote.
The announcement has drawn sympathy and support from his followers, many of whom have encouraged him to stay strong and continue engaging with the community.
Although he has chosen not to appeal the decision, supporters see this as only the beginning of his political journey. Many believe his influence on social media could still play a major role in shaping youth politics in Makindye.
