Controversial city socialite Brian Kirumira, popularly known as Bryan White, has been remanded to Luzira Maximum Security Prison after being slapped with seven criminal charges, including human sacrifice and manslaughter, following the tragic death of 25-year-old Carol Nalubwama.
A few weeks ago, a mysterious fire gutted Bryan White’s Makindye home, leaving both him and Carol with severe burns. Carol fought for her life in several medical facilities before being transferred to Kiruddu Hospital, where she sadly passed away due to her injuries.
However, investigators later uncovered shocking evidence suggesting that Carol’s death had been staged, pointing fingers directly at Bryan White.
Despite his frail condition, Bryan White was brought to Makindye Chief Magistrate’s Court in an ambulance, where charges were formally read to him. The court session ended with his remand until 18th December.
His arrest comes shortly after his wife, Nalunga Daisy, and associates Irene Nambalirwa, Naava Nakato, and Abaho Daphine were also charged with offenses ranging from giving false information to manslaughter and conspiracy to commit a felony.
Outside court, Carol’s father Ssalongo Tom Mutyaba expressed deep anger.
“Bryan has been killing people and getting away with it, but this time he touched my daughter. I won’t bury her until he feels hell on earth.”,late Carol’s father Ssalongo Tom stated.
He also dismissed Bryan’s dramatic pain displays as “acting to win sympathy.”

The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) is expected to commit the case to the High Court, where Bryan White could face a full trial. Police are also analyzing CCTV footage and items reportedly recovered from shrines found at his home.
