Gospel singer Baby Gloria has opened up about her new life as a married woman, sharing lessons she has learned since tying the knot with her husband, Jonas Mbaleka, in August 2025.
Speaking with heartfelt honesty, the 24-year-old star revealed that marriage has completely changed her perspective on commitment and responsibility.
“When you’re a girlfriend, you still have a kind of security you can jump out and back in anytime. But once they tie the knot, it doesn’t matter if you’re annoyed or unsatisfied; you’re there for life,” Gloria said.
She explained that the moment she got married, she instantly realized how permanent marriage truly is.
“Being there for life is one thing I realised instantly when I got into marriage. You don’t have the liberty of knowing you can leave at any time,” she added.
Baby Gloria also advised young people to be very intentional about who they choose to marry, emphasizing that the decision determines one’s peace and happiness in the long run.
“It teaches you to make the right decision of a person to marry so you don’t regret it long term,” she concluded.
