Minister of State for Youth and Children Affairs, Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi, has issued a 12-hour ultimatum to Abdul Ssekajja, the new fiancé of singer Chosen Becky, to report to his office over allegations of child neglect and defilement
The ultimatum follows public uproar after Chosen Becky recently confirmed her relationship with Ssekajja through a social media engagement celebration.
While some congratulated the couple, others accused Ssekajja of abandoning his previous family to be with the singer.
Seeking justice, Ssekajja’s former partner, Rashida, met with Minister Balaam to discuss the situation.
During their meeting, Rashida revealed that she became pregnant by Ssekajja at the age of 16 and that the two have two children together.
Minister Balaam strongly condemned the reported actions, citing both defilement and neglect. He has given Ssekajja just 13 hours to appear before him, warning that failure to comply will result in immediate arrest and legal action.
