Socialite Shanitah Namuyimbwa alias Bad Black, has come out to dismiss rumors claiming she had postponed her highly anticipated wedding after allegedly pocketing millions of shillings in contributions.
The outspoken socialite and her fiancé, Asha Panda, recently held their official wedding meeting, during which family and friends pledged over Shs 60 million towards the upcoming ceremony.
However, reports began circulating this week on social media alleging that Bad Black had squandered the funds and postponed her destination wedding.
Taking to her social media platforms, Bad Black rubbished the claims, labeling them as fake news and urging her followers not to believe the gossip.
“Dear online in-laws, kindly don’t believe the fake news. Our wedding still stands on 14th February 2026 the day we first fell in love. Me and Daddy Kibirango are getting married,” she wrote.
She further revealed that her legal team had been instructed to take action against one of the media outlets behind the false allegations, citing defamation and misinformation.
Bad Black questioned why critics seemed bitter about her plans when they hadn’t contributed anything, reminding the public that several prominent personalities had attended her launch and made generous contributions.
She reaffirmed that preparations for the wedding are in full swing, with the honeymoon already booked and paid for in Seychelles.
According to her, she has chosen to remain silent about further details since the wedding broadcast rights were purchased by Play It Loud and NRG Radio, which will provide exclusive coverage of the event.
