Ugandan gospel star Gloria Mulungi Senyonjo, popularly known as Baby Gloria, and her fiancé Mbaleka Jonas have taken a significant step toward matrimony by hosting a vibrant and heartfelt customary introduction ceremony.
The event, which followed their recent engagement, church marriage announcement, and bridal shower, was held on 22 August 2023 at Baby Gloria’s family home in Nalumunye, Mutundwe.
It brought together a close-knit group of friends, family, and well-wishers.
The cultural celebration was graced by several notable figures in Uganda’s gospel and religious circles, including Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Bishop Kiganda, Betty Namaganda, and Justine Nabbosa, among others.
As part of the traditional proceedings, Mbaleka Jonas presented a lavish dowry package worth millions of shillings.
The bride price included a cow, several goats, a gym machine, a generator, and a 65-inch television, symbolizing both respect for tradition and the couple’s commitment to each other.
With the introduction ceremony successfully completed, the couple now looks forward to their wedding day, where they will officially be joined in holy matrimony.
