Allan Hendrik Ssali, also known by his stage name Paper Daddy and the eldest son of musician Bebe Cool, has addressed longstanding rumors claiming he was admitted to a rehabilitation center due to substance abuse.
The singer has been relatively quiet on the music scene for a while, which fueled speculation that his father had taken him to rehab. However, in a recent interview with local TV station , Allan firmly denied the allegations, stating that the rumors hold no truth.
“I usually let people believe what they want. That topic has been circulating for about three years now, and I’m no longer interested in explaining myself. Those are just rumors, I’ve been around, and the people who know me personally can attest to that. I don’t owe anyone an explanation.” – Allan said.
Responding to claims that he cut off his dreadlocks as part of a supposed recovery journey, Allan clarified that the change in appearance was purely for rebranding purposes and had nothing to do with addiction.
“Cutting my hair was a personal choice related to my brand. Anyone can change their look I’m not the first and won’t be the last. I might even cut it off again if I feel like it. It’s just part of who I am as an artist,” he explained.
Despite the ongoing gossip, Allan Hendrik remains unfazed, choosing instead to focus on his music and personal growth.
