Ugandan music legend Jose Chameleone has once again taken center stage not just for his performance, but for throwing down the gauntlet in what could be the next major feud in Uganda’s music industry.
During a recent performance at the Leone Island Jam Sessions, Chameleone delivered a freestyle in which he appeared to take direct shots at Alien Skin, mocking his song “Kapati and claiming the artist is no match for him musically.
“I can easily outclass him,” Chameleone reportedly boasted.
The unexpected diss has sparked a wave of mixed reactions among fans, with many speculating that the feud may have deeper roots.
Industry observers suggest the tension may be linked to Chameleone’s close association with Scorpion Shaba UG a former ally-turned-rival of Alien Skin. Once part of Alien Skin’s Fangone Forest camp, Scorpion and Alien Skin had a highly public falling-out, leading to a bitter split.
Fueling the drama further, Chameleone was recently seen accompanying Scorpion Shaba during his nomination for LC3 Councilor of Namirembe Bakuli.
This public show of support is believed to have ruffled feathers within the Fangone Forest camp, allegedly prompting insults aimed at Chameleone.
While neither party has officially confirmed a beef, the tension between the camps seems to be escalating, leaving fans eagerly watching to see what unfolds next.
