The ongoing feud between Leone Island boss Jose Chameleone and Fangone Forest’s Alien Skin is heating up, with both artists trading jabs as tensions escalate.
Earlier this week, Chameleone sparked controversy during a live performance when he dismissed Alien Skin’s hit song Kapati, boasting that Alien Skin was no match for him musically and that he could easily outperform him.
This didn’t sit well with Alien’s camp. His outspoken bodyguard, Ibrah Kabadiya, quickly hit back, warning Chameleone to watch his words.
“You’re no longer a force in the music industry you’ve faded,If you keep talking trash about us, we’ll make sure you regret it. We’re not afraid to confront you.”Ibrah said.
Alien Skin, known for his chart-topping track Sitya Danger, also stepped in, confidently claiming he has surpassed Chameleone musically.
“He’s starting drama because he can’t keep up with this generation, Why is someone like him so focused on my music? Isn’t he supposed to be one of the ‘big three’? If he really thinks he’s better, let him step up and prove it. Just like his friends, he can’t handle today’s sound.”, Alien said.
Jose Chameleone remains a celebrated music icon in East Africa, with over two decades in the industry. However, the source of this recent friction is rumored to stem from his close ties with Scorpion Shaba UG, a musician-turned-politician and former member of Skin’s camp.
Scorpion and Alien Skin fell out publicly and are now sworn enemies. Adding fuel to the fire, Chameleone was seen accompanying Scorpion during his nomination for LC3 Councilor of Namirembe Bakuli a move that may have further provoked the Fangone Forest crew.
As the feud intensifies, fans and critics alike are watching closely. Will this stay a war of words, or is a musical showdown on the horizon?
